Lauren Johnson, 31, Russell County, KY (1992-2023) Lauren Cortney Johnson, of Russell Springs, gained her heavenly wings Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Russell County Hospital. She was 31 years of age. Born July 17, 1992, in Somerset, she was a daughter of Jerry Keith Johnson and Annette Hart Johnson. Lauren worked as a caregiver, for both the young and elderly. She loved music and watching her fiance Seth perform at concerts. Lauren was animal-lover and an artist who enjoyed drawing and painting. She was a wonderful mother and her boys were the center of her life. Lauren remained steadfast in believing that God was faithful, and He would carry her though to the end of her journey in this life. Survivors include her father, Jerry Johnson, of Russell Springs; her mother, Annette Johnson (and Rick Selby) , of Jamestown; a sister, Megan Johnson, of Russell Springs; her fiance, Seth Wade, of Russell Springs; three children, Camdynn Johnson, Jasper Johnson, and Kayden Wade; and maternal grandparents, Keith and Georgene Hart, of Russell Springs. Lauren was preceded in death by two brothers, Waylon Polston and Dylon Johnson; and her paternal grandparents, L.C. and Wanda Johnson. A Celebration of Life will be held for Lauren from 2 to 4pmCT Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Bernard Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, Kentucky 42503. Donations may also be left at the funeral home.
