Anna Joyce Reeder, 92, Adair County, KY (1931-2023)

Anna Joyce Helm Reeder, 92, of Columbia, KY passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Green Hill Rehab and Care Center in Greensburg, Ky. She was born in Jamestown, Ky on August 18, 1931, to the late Arthur Raymond Helm Sr. and Lucretia Katherine Sullivan Helm. She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Reeder.

She attended the Sparksville Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed vegetable gardening, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.


Survivors include a son Perry Reeder (Sonja) of Columbia, KY; daughter-in-law Deeanna Reeder of Columbia, KY; two grandchildren Chris Reeder (Windy Spears Reeder) of Columbia, KY and Miranda Cheatham of Greensburg, KY; two great grandchildren Ashley Reeder and Justin Reeder (Angel); a great great granddaughter Rylee Lynn Reeder and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Greg Reeder and three siblings Norma Scott, Hildred Baise, and Arthur Raymond Helm, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11amCT Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8pm and will continue Wednesday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Bro. Robert Adkins will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Justin Reeder, Chris Reeder, Johnny Richard, Jared Denton, Mike Holland, and Ashley Reeder.
