Johnny Brockman, 52, Russell County, KY (1970-2023) Johnny Brockman, of Windsor, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. He was 52 years, 11 months, and 14 days of age. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on October 20, 1970, to Josephine Burton Brockman and the late Ward Brockman. He was a bus driver for Bluegrass Ultra Transit and a farmer. Johnny was a loving son, husband, and father, who loved spending time with his family. He was an avid UK Wildcats and Casey County Rebels fan. Johnny was a craftsman; he loved creating things, "tinkering", and woodworking. He also enjoyed fishing and rabbit hunting. He is survived by his wife, Robin Tingle Brockman, whom he wed on November 12, 2010; his mother, Josephine Brockman; his children, Zack Chesser, Austin Brockman, and Samantha (and Matthew) Smith; his brother, Troy (and Annette) Brockman; and his nephew, Jackson Brockman. Funeral services are 10amCT on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Brother Shannon Cain officiating. Johnny will be laid to rest in Birdie Russell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Friday, October 6, 2023, and from 7:30am until time of services on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Bernard Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Zack Chesser, Jackson Brockman, Roger Brockman, Bill Brockman, Matthew Smith, and Phillip Bryant. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Brockman and Samantha Smith.
