Verna Eudora Neagle, 93, Green Co., KY (1929-2023)

Verna Eudora Neagle was born December 1, 1929, in Green County, KY to the late Sam William "Jim" Akin and Novie Eunice Altman Akin. She departed this life, Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Baptist Health Hardin Hospital in Elizabethtown having attained the age of ninety-three years, nine months, and twenty days.

She made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She was employed at Edmonton Manufacturing and loved to cook. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband; Rual Clifton Neagle November 9, 2009; two sisters, Nancy Cowan and Zelmadean Nunn.

She is survived by two sons: Roger Neagle and Rual Neagle and his wife Janice, all of Greensburg. Three grandchildren; Belinda Gaines of Campbellsville, Terry Neagle of Greensburg, and Tonya Hansel and husband Ben of Pennsylvania. Also surviving are two great grandchildren; John Rual Hansel of Pennsylvania and Lindsey Nicole Neagle of Burkesville; and one step great - grandchild; Benny Hansel and wife Sarah of Pennsylvania, plus a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers: Jeffrey Milby, Tim Jones, John Rual Hansel, Philip Tommy Judd, Adam Whitlock, Robbie Milby

Honorary Pallbearers: Members of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the Gideons for Bibles. These can be made at the funeral home.
