Eudell Johnson Wilson, 96, Russell County, KY (1927-2023) Zorah Eudell Johnson Wilson, of Russell Springs, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023. She was 96 years of age. Born January 1, 1927, at home in Russell Springs, she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Sylphia Hopper Johnson. Eudell was a loving wife to her husband, Louis D. Wilson, whom she married on July 17, 1945, and enjoyed his company until his death on October 14, 2014. She was also a loving mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Grace Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and her love of gardening was evident in her rose garden each year. Survivors include two daughters, Connie Marlene Selby of Russell Springs, and Donna Sharlene (and Douglas) Flatt of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; one brother, Argust Johnson of Somerset; two sisters, Meridith Hopper and Arbodella Clifford, both of Russell Springs; and four grandchildren, Trent Dale Selby of Raymond, Mississippi, Dawn Renee (and Jerry) Willoughby of Russell Springs, Ryan (and Amy) Flatt of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Amber (and Travis) Dolan of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Taylor Shae Willoughby of Russell Springs, Cohen Flatt, Caleb Flatt and Hanna Flatt, all of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Ryland Dolan and Bryson Dolan, both of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Cleveland Johnson and Alden Johnson; and a son-in-law, Dale Selby. Funeral services are 2pmCT Monday, September 25, 2023, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Brother Caleb Shirley officiating. Eudell will be laid to rest beside her husband in Salem Cemetery following the services. Visitation will be from 11 - 2 on Monday.
