Joshua Myers Jessie, 33, Metcalfe County, KY Joshua Myers Jessie, age 33 of Sulphur Well Community of Metcalfe County, passed away on Tuesday, September 05, 2023. He was born on October 16, 1989, the son of Anthony & Kathy (Boston) Jessie. He attended Sulphur Well Methodist Church in his younger days, and Pink Ridge Baptist Church in his adult life, was a farmer, sub-contractor for several delivery companies, was an avid hunter and fisherman, but above all was a loving and proud father. He is preceded in death by his father, paternal grandfather, Edwin Jessie Jr., maternal grandparents, Buck Boston, and Mildred Boston, niece, Asia Destiny Brooke Caffee, uncle, Edwin Ray Jessie, and a special friend, Jesse Basil. He is survived by his mother, Kathy (Boston) Jessie, children, William Jessie, Peyton Jessie, siblings, Thomas Caffee, Melissa Gearlds, Shanti Jessie (& Chris Brown), paternal grandmother, Cora Emma Jessie, special nieces and nephews, Timothy Caffee, Jared Love, Justin Caffee, Madison (& Bryce) Gearlds, Destiny (& Lance) Gearlds, Kaden (& Addy) Scott, Nola Tate Caffee, Willow Harris, Winterly Harris, Hannah Gearlds, aunts, Becky Jessie, Anita Bass, special great-nephew, Layne Scott, special cousin, Nick (& Lizzie) Jessie, along with several other family members and many friends. The funeral service for Mr. Joshua Myers Jessie will be conducted on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Butler Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Smith Cemetery in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 11, 2023 after 4pmCT at the funeral home, and again on Tuesday after 8 until time for the service.
