Anthony James Coffey, Sr., 57, Columbia, KY (1966-2023) Anthony James Coffey, Sr., of Columbia, passed away on Monday September 11, 2023, at his residence. He was 57 years old. Mr. Coffey chose cremation, and a memorial service will be held at 11amCT on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY. A memorial visitation will be on Saturday from 9amCT until 11amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. He was born in Berwyn, IL on April 15, 1966, to the late Robert, Sr. and Bonnie Walker Coffey. Mr. Coffey was a member of 3trees Church and enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his family and friends. His greatest joy was being "Papa" to his grandson Kayson. Survivors include two children Samantha Coffey of Columbia, KY and Anthony Coffey of Knifley, KY; a grandson Kayson Coffey; his former wife and best friend Janice Coffey of Columbia and several other friends and relatives. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home or the family to help with funeral expenses. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
