Larry Graybeal, 71, Campbellsville, KY (1952-2023)

Larry Graybeal of Campbellsville, son of the late Milton Spencer Graybeal and Erie Amazon Ball Graybeal, was born May 23, 1952 in Ohio. He died at 10:27 P.M., Friday, September 1, 2023 in Louisville. He was 71 years old.

He was a retired HVAC employee with Pickett's Heating and Cooling. Larry professed faith in Christ and was a member of East Campbellsville Church of God. He was known by his family as the hardest worker you could ever meet, but most importantly, he was the greatest dad a son could ever ask for. He united in marriage to Rita Dupps Graybeal May 4, 1973 and she preceded him in death September 1, 2005. Larry is survived by one son, Chris "Spike" Graybeal and wife, Kristie of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Devin Graybeal of Campbellsville, Sierra Westmoreland and husband, Dakota of Greensburg, and Wyatt Houk of Columbia; two sisters: Shirley Sturtivan and husband, Cliff, and Sue Bright of Campbellsville; one brother, Bearl Graybeal of Corbin; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Larry was also preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers: Helen Thomas, Aileen Huff, Christine Sprouse, Jack Graybeal, Millard Junior Graybeal, and Roger Dale Graybeal and Milton Graybeal in infancy.

Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences and service details at parrottramsey.com.
