Melissa Dawn Karnes-Walls, 47, Taylor County, KY (1976-2023) Melissa Dawn Karnes-Walls, 47, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of Judy Beckley Karnes and the late Clemmie Karnes was born June 4, 1976, and departed this life on Sunday, September 3, 2023 after an extended illness. She professed faith in Christ and was of Baptist faith. She was a mother hen to her many non-biological children and loved being a homemaker. Melissa enjoyed shopping and talking, she never met a stranger. Besides her mother, Melissa is survived by: Two daughters: Kayla Newton and Brooklyn Newton, both of Campbellsville Two grandchildren: Ava Hoskins and Nova Hoskins, both of Campbellsville Two sisters and two brothers: Kristy Young and Dusty Cox of Campbellsville; Jamie Terrell and her husband, Jamie, of Gravel Switch, Clemmie Beckley of Campbellsville, and Todd Beckley and his wife, Chrystal, of Campbellsville Several nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends VISITATION: Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 5pm - 8pmET at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville. The funeral service will be Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 11amET. Bro. Don Gowin will be officiating with burial to follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
