Glenna Hoover Stiff, 88, Russell County, KY (1935-2023) Glenna Hoover Stiff, of Russell Springs, KY passed from this life on Saturday, August 19, 2023. She was 88 years of age. Glenna was born January 26, 1935, in Jabez, daughter of the late Charley and Eula Mae Wiggington Hoover. She is survived by three sons, Joseph (and Kim) Pommell, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Timothy Pommell, of Jacksonville, Florida, and John Thompson, of Jamestown; one daughter, Susan (and Eric) Wolford, of Russell Springs; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Glenna is preceded in death by her grandson, Colby Pommell; her brothers, Sterlin Hoover, Dewayne K. Hoover, William Oscar Hoover and Dencil G. Hoover; and her sisters, Grace Hoover and Merlene Hoover Rexroat. Funeral services are 1pmCT Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Preston Richardson officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fred Rexroat, Zan Rexroat, Randy Rexroat, David Rexroat, Kendall Hoover and Matthew Pommell. Visitation will be held after 11:30amCT Tuesday, at Bernard Funeral Home, until time for services.
