Veachel Scott, 83, Cumberland County, KY (1940-2023) Esther Veachel Scott, age 83 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Cumberland Valley Manor. She was born on February 17, 1940 in Cumberland County, KY. Veachel was a member of Bow Schoolhouse Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Flora Riddle, her husband, Ira Scott, a grandson, Jason Willis, two granddaughters, Allyson and Aubrie Cross and son-in-law, Earl Spears. Survivors include: One son - Prentis Willis (Becky) of Bowling Green Two daughters - Lisa Nation (Tony) of Burkesville and Linda Spears of Hartsville, TN Grandchildren - April Harper (Scott) of Glasgow, Kristie Cross (Brandon) of Burkesville, Nichole Willis of Bowling Green and Tony Spears of Hartsville, TN Great grandchildren - Aleia Kate, Grant, Grayson, Nolan, Oakley, Lincoln, Anthony, Amber, Clay and Canaan Special friend - Phillip Holman A host of other relatives and friends Funeral Service: Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 11amCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main St, Burkesville, KY with burial in Perkins Cemetery.
