Dorothy Price, 87, Green County, KY (1936-2023) Dorothy Jones Price, age 87, of Green County, KY was born April 11, 1936 in Green County KY to the late Leo Hardin Jones, Sr. and Grace Pearl Pierce Jones. She departed this life on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 in Green County, having attained the age of eighty-seven years, four months and four days. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Jesus Name Church, Campbellsville, KY. She retired from Fruit of the Loom after 20 plus years of employment. She was united in marriage to Joe Mack Price, who preceded her in death: December 19, 2013. She is preceded in death by one son: Thomas "Bean" Price, May 14, 2011. Also preceding her in death are six brothers: James, Ralph, Harold, Larry, Joe David and Leo Jones, Jr., and two sisters: Catherine Bishop and Lena Jones. Survivors include her daughter and son in law: Trish and Mark Quire of Louisville, KY. Daughter In Law: Tressa Price of Elizabethtown, Ky. Sister In Law: Patricia Jones of Louisville, KY. One grandchild and spouse: Amanda and Jake Price. Three step grandchildren: Jasmine, Reba and Sean and Five step great grandchildren. Funeral Service: Jesus Name Church in Campbellsville, KY at 12noonCT, Monday, August 21, 2023. Ministers: Elder Rueal Boils, Elder Ronnie Goin and Elder Jimmy Sharp. Burial: Jesus Name Church Cemetery, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation: Sunday August 20, 2023, from 5 - 7 and after 7 Monday, August 21, 2023 at the Foster Toler Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY.
