Rowe Farms receives coveted Cumberland DHIA Master Dairyman Award David Hutchison receives second place; third place is tie between Greg Burton and Randall Burton. Master Dairymen, New Officer photos accompany this article By David Herbst dherbst@uky.edu Adair County Extension Agent The Cumberland Dairy Herd Improvement Association (DHIA) held their annual meeting on Monday, December 5, 2005. During the meeting, the Master Dairyman awards were presented. This award encompasses all management areas connected with DHIA dairy production records. It is the highest awarded presented annually. First place went to Rowe Farms, Inc., owned and operated by Billy and Fred Rowe; second place went David Hutchison; third place was a tie between Greg Burton and Randall Burton. Elections were held and Bruce Held was elected President. The other officers elected were Billy Rowe, Vice-President; Greg Burton, Secretary/Treasurer; Board of Directors Archie Burton, Edward Kessler, Ranel Curry, David Hutchison and Billy Murrell. Production Awards were also presented, and they are the following: High Overall Cow Milk
