PURE VARMINTOLOGY: Modern science reveals what gives Badrack his speed Scientific tests prove 99% expected results; but other 1% of outcome a real stunner! An expected source of Badrack's speed. CAUTION. Dr. Neat would have warned simple folk not to read anything this deep. It can split the heads of ordinary folk like a ripe watermelons. We respectfully ask people with small minds to be forewarned. By Last Known Graduate, Ph.D. Billy Neat University of Varmintology Re: Badrack Heritage As reported earlier the speed with which Badrack moved around town created some suspicion as to his ancestors. Relying upon my training at B.N.U.V., I proceeded to retrieve hair and blood samples from various location around town that he had reportedly been seen. These samples were subjected to the most rigorous DNA and VIP (varmint identification procedures) testing known to mankind. It was my belief that this deer could be a direct descendant of the deer from many generations back that beat the rifle bullets away with the Hickory limb from that well known "Big Game Hunter" whom must remain nameless to protect the innocent There were hair samples that were retrieved from this deer by a local Hacksaw Indian, formerly from Cane Valley, that had managed to run fast enough to pull a few from the deer's tail. He lacked just a little speed to complete the catch and have this deer for supper. Some of those hair were obtained and subjected to the same test as performed on the Badrack samples. It is with great joy that I can report that my thoughts were confirmed with one issue of misunderstanding that will require considerable investigation at a later date. Almost no chance Badrack is not direct descendant of speedy Cane Valley deer After hours of studying and matching up the reports there is only a 1 in 383,000,000 by DNA, and 1 in 500,000,000 by VIP, that Badrack could not be a direct ancestor (in my mind that's close enough for government work) of that renown speedy deer of the past. This leaves no doubt that Badrack is fast enough to be in all those reported places at the same time. The one issue not understood is the 1 (one) gene found in the testing that the only other animal in the world is known to have and that is the Cheetahs of Africa. Could this be why Badrack is so fast?
