Arlena Cape, 81, Adair County, KY (1942-2023) Arlena Cape, 81, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, August 11, 2023 at 6:10 A.M. at her home. She was born April 1, 1942, in Russell County, to the late William and Elva Morgan Kimbler. She was a member of Melson Ridge Separate Baptist Church and a former sewing factory worker, working at Russell Sportswear and Osh Kosh B'Gosh. Survivors include: Her husband - James Cape of Columbia One son - Ricky Cape (Angela) of Shepherdsville One daughter - Karen Sneed (Mike) of Columbia One brother - Roy Kimbler of Russell Springs One sister - Brenda Channey of Adair County Five grandchildren - Amanda Terrell (Matt), Samantha Cape, Isabella Cape, Ashley Pointer (Dustin) and Landon Sneed Seven great-grandchildren - Harper Terrell, Lexi, Isaiah, Evelyn, Myla, Quinton and Jasper Pointer Several other relatives and friends In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Kayla Sneed. Funeral service - Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Helm officiating Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery Visitation after 9:00 A.M.
