Jewell Burton, 77, member Bloomington Chapel Brethren in Christ Mrs. Burton leaves a large family including 54 descendants. She had retired after a 20 year career at Fruit of the Loom. Jewell E. Burton, 77, 4259 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2005 a.m., at her home, after an illness. The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 13, 2005, at 1:00 p.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Foster officiating. Interment will be in Bearwallow Cemetery. She was the daughter of the late Charlie W. and Clara O. Burton Harmon of Adair County.She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harlin Burton, on June 14, 2003. They were married for 58 years. She is survived by the following:
