Paul Wayne Kirby, 76, Metcalfe County, KY (1947-2023) Paul Wayne Kirby age 76, of Edmonton, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at his residence. He was born on Saturday, May 24, 1947, the son of Kenneth and Beatrice (Manley) Kirby. He was a Christian man, member of North Main Church of Christ in Edmonton, and was a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army, member of the V.F.W. Post 6281, and a member of the local DAV. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Kirby, grandchild, Chelsea Anders, siblings, Steven Kirby, Sandy Teeter, Judy Ferdinand, and Aaron Kirby. Mr. Kirby is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Wilson) Kirby, children, Kenneth W. (& Heather) Kirby, Jesiah Pena, Jameah Scarborough-Kirby, Margie McClain, Shannon Ruth Kirby, 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, siblings, Roger Kirby, Debbie Biggers, Pam Rams, his special family at the Metcalfe V.F.W. Post # 6281, along with other family members and many friends. The funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at 2pmCT in the chapel of Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton, Kentucky with Bro. Charles Costello officiating.
