CPD: Sealed indictment warrant served By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department On Tuesday night, August 1, 2023, Officers served a sealed indictment warrant at a residence on Gaston Avenue stemming from an investigation from Columbia HIDTA Office for drug trafficking and drug possession. Officers took a male subject into custody and, while on scene, discovered additional paraphernalia and over 12 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Michael Ray 'Pig' Grant has been charged with trafficking in a controlled substance methamphetamine in addition to being served with his indictment warrant. Sgt Evan Burton was the arresting Officer. He was assisted on scene by Officer Justin Cross. Grants original indictment came from an investigation initiated by Columbia HIDTA. This story was posted on 2023-08-02 08:54:50
