Diane Salyers, 67, Casey Co., KY native (1955-2023) Diane Salyers of Mannsville departed this life on Thursday, July 27, 2023 in Danville at the Ephraim McDowell Hospital. She was 67 years old. A private service will be conducted on Saturday at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Acton-Mannsville Chapel. No public visitation is planned. Diane Salyers, the daughter of the late Cecil and Edith (Davis) Salyers, was born August 11, 1955 in Casey County, KY. She was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed yardwork, being outdoors, gardening, antique hunting and spending time with her family. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers: Debbie Salsbury, Vicky Byrd, Cecil David 'Smiley" Salyers and Daril Salyers. Survivors include a son: George Green and wife Beth of Mannsville; a daughter: Michelle Ward and husband Scott of Tennessee. Also three brothers: Ricky Salyers and wife Brenda, Timmy Salyers and Jerome Salyers and wife Kim all of Liberty; five grandchildren: Logan Russell, Eli Propes, Joshua Kidd, Nicole Ward and Justin Reynolds; two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
