Patricia H. (Pat) Brendel, 85, Burkesville, KY (1937-2023) Mrs. Patricia H. "Pat" Brendel of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at her residence in the Hendricks Creek Community of Cumberland County, Kentucky, having attained the age of 85 years, 10 months and 17 days. The funeral service will be held at 11amCT on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Pitcock officiating. Burial will follow in the Scott Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends after NoonCT on Monday, July 24, 2023 until the funeral hour on Tuesday. She was born in Canton, Ohio on Friday, September 3, 1937 the daughter of Charles T. and Martha Pauline (Whitehouse) Hill. She was a Christian, a member of Burkesville Baptist Church and co-owner of Hendricks Fishing Camp and Marina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A.B. "Bim" Brendel, Jr., her sisters, Sue Burton and Lari Jean Floyd. She is survived by her children, Patricia "Patty" Brendel of Burkesville, Kentucky, Charlette ( & Ross) Bellew of Cottage Grove, Tennessee, Lillian (& Duane) Rebstock of Franklin, Kentucky, Francis Brendel of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Frank A. B. Brendel, III of Burkesville, Kentucky, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends also survive. In lieu of flowers, contributions appreciated to Scholarship Fund, Dale Hollow Marina Association, Attn: Pat Brendel Memorial, 5274 Bradford Hicks Drive, Livingston, Tennessee 38570 or may be left at Norris-New Funeral Home during visitation.
