Adair Co. Fair: Floral Hall starts Wednesday From Amanda Davis Page The Floral Hall opens this morning, Wednedsay, July 19, 2023, with orientation at 9amCT and entries accepted from 10amCT to 12:30pmCT. The Floral Hall will be located at the Adair Co Extension Office, 409 Fairgrounds St, Columbia, KY. For more information call 270-384-2317 or visit https://adair.ca.uky.edu. There are no fees to enter items into the floral hall competition. Categories have been added to increase participation and keep up with changing trends. Competition classes for produce, such as leafy greens, and a whole new category for farm items are making their debut. This will be a trial year for these new classes! Thoroughly look through the Floral Hall booklet this year as some of the categories and their requirements have changed. A list of categories can be downloaded here: 2023 Floral Hall Categories (PDF). Judging for Open Floral Hall will take place at 9amCT on Thursday, July 20, 2023, and then public viewing will be available from 2pmCT to 4pmCT.
