City Council adds cable franchise items to Friday, Dec. 9, called meeting

Two items related to cable franchises: 1) To consider extending Cable franchise with Charter Communications. 2) Consider a 1st reading of an Ordinance Creating a New Cable Franchise
The City Council of Columbia, KY will hold a Special Called Meeting on Friday, December 9, 2005, at 1:00 P.M. in City Hall.


The following items will be considered:

  1. Receive Bids for Water Meters & Meter Reading Handhelds.

  2. 2nd reading to Ordinance No. 220.133 (Amended FY 05/06 Budget)

  3. Approve Resolution 2005.23. Resolution to approve filing funding application for Highway 61 Interchange Sewer Project and authorizing Mayor to sign all necessary documents related to project.

  4. Consider a Resolution extending the existing Cable Franchise with Charter Communications

  5. Consider 1st Reading of an Ordinance Creating a new Cable Franchise,
Please note that items 4 & 5 have been added tot he Special Called meeting Agenda since first notification on December 7.

The meeting is open to the public.
