Twalla Elizabeth Leftwich, 65, Green County, KY Twalla Elizabeth Leftwich of Summersville, Kentucky, daughter of Elizabeth Perkins Leftwich of Summersville and the late Colva Ray Leftwich, was born on Saturday, August 3, 1957 in Taylor County and departed this life on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was 65 years, 11 months, and 11 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a Certified Nurses Aide for Home Health and Green Hill Rehab and Care Center for several years and was a past volunteer for the Summersville Voluntary Fire Department. Besides her mother she is survived by her companion: Samuel Terrell Davis of Summersville; a daughter and son-in-law: Christy and Daniel Pickett of Green County; two grandchildren: Courtney Pickett and Cody Pickett both of Green County; two great-grandchildren: Carter and Valerie; sister-in-law: Kathy Leftwich of Summersville; nieces: Holly Johnson of Green County and Jill Ashlock of New Haven; and a host of other relatives and friends. Besides her father, she was also preceded in death by a brother: Eddie Leftwich on December 11, 2015. The funeral services for Twalla Leftwich will be conducted at 12noonCT Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Leslie Jewell will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 4-8 Monday and after 7 Tuesday until time of the funeral service. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Family Burial Expenses or the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
