Patricia Luttrell, 69, Casey County, KY (1953-2023)

Patricia A. Luttrell, age 69, of Dunnville, KY passed away on July 12th, 2023, at 12:40 pm at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 23rd, 1953, in Liberty, KY. She was the daughter of Jean (and the late) Arnold Hall.

"Mrs. Pat" as she was affectionately called by so many was always very active in her community and various youth programs. She was president of the ladies auxiliary for the soil conservation board where she helped with the scholarship program, she was also chairman of the Junior Miss scholarship program for Casey County for a couple of years, she was on the Casey County library board as she loved books and the great wealth of knowledge that they held.


Mrs. Pat was involved in many other committees like 4-H, Pork Producers, Casey County Cattleman's Association and Casey County Homemakers, as well as serving on the Lake Cumberland Hospice Board.

She graduated from Casey County High School in the early 70's, she then attended SCC and WKU. She retired from the Casey County School System.

On August 31st, 1973, she married the love of her life Harvey Luttrell. Together they would build a life they loved on their farm.

She was a member of Bradley's Pleasure Baptist Church for over 40 years where she was active and always willing to share her testimony, she was a walking testimony herself as she faced many health obstacles over her lifetime, but she never once complained or let is slow her down, she praised Jesus in all things the good and bad a true Christian example.

She is survived by her loving husband of almost 50 years Harvey Luttrell who was always by her side. She is also survived by her daughter Holly (Adam) Matherly of Liberty, KY, her mother Jean Hall of Liberty, KY and two grandchildren Conley and Kailee Matherly who she thought hung the moon. She leaves behind a slew of nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held 6 - 9pmET on Sunday July 16th, 2023, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1pmET Monday July 17th, 2023, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Reggie Tipton and Bro. Rick Stump officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hollow Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Adam Matherly, Conley Matherly, Keith Luttrell, Mike Marra, Chris Marra and Michael Marra. Honorary Pallbearers: Joseph Luttrell, Wendell Emerson, Paul Luttrell and Michelle Marra.

in lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Casey County Public Library or Galilean Christian Academy.
