Kenneth Richard Blair, 90, Russell County, KY (1933-2023) Kenneth Richard Blair, age 90, of Russell Springs, died Monday, July 10, 2023, at Russell County Hospital. He was born March 25, 1933, in Russell Springs, Kentucky, to the late Herbert and Effie Maye Chrisman Blair. Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Korean War. Survivors include several special nieces and nephews, James Eric Lee, Shirley Ann Sportsman, Michael Ray Sportsman, Cherokee Marie Moore, Brandi Lynn Escudero, Justin Wayne Hoosier, Michael Blair, Catherine Gosser, Makayla Blair, Patrick Blair, and Jennifer Blair-Willford; and special friends, Greg and Julie Hammond. Survivors include several special nieces and nephews, James Eric Lee, Shirley Ann Sportsman, Michael Ray Sportsman, Cherokee Marie Moore, Brandi Lynn Escudero, Justin Wayne Hoosier, Michael Blair, Catherine Gosser, Makayla Blair, Patrick Blair, and Jennifer Blair- In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Sportsman Blair. Graveside service for Kenneth Richard Blair will be 10amCT Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Fairview Memorial Cemetery, with Bro. Eric Richardson officiating. Full military honors will be provided by Russell Springs DAV Chapter 51, along with VFW Post 6097 of Adair County. Bernard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
