Dorothy Mae Bingham, 89, Adair Co., KY native (1934-2023) Dorothy Mae (Wilson) Bingham of Edmonton passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at her residence with her family by her side. She was 89 years old. Funeral services will be held at 10:30amCT on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Prices Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Matthew Sexton and Bro. Joe Logan officiating. Burial will follow in the Bragg Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3pmCT until 8pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, and will continue on Friday after 8:30amCT at Prices Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was born on June 9, 1934, in Adair County to the late Willie and Kizzie Burris Wilson. Mrs. Bingham was a member of the Prices Creek Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, gardening, farming with her husband Mitchell and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband Mitchell Bingham of Edmonton, KY; a daughter Deborah Sexton (Randy) of Edmonton, KY; a son Marty Bingham (Trish) of Cave City, KY; four grandchildren Tonya Wagner (Craig), Stephanie Sexton, Logan Sexton, and Dana Clark (Timmy); five great grandchildren Leo Wagner, Johnny Wagner, Wyatt Wagner, Lincoln Clark, and Annsley Clark and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings Robert Wilson, Eddie Wilson, Loren V. Wilson, Zorene England, and Artie Clemmons. Pallbearers will be Logan Sexton, Timmy Clark, Rick Wilson, Dennis Brown, Danny Propes, Gene Fahey, and Harry T. Bingham. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Clemmons, David England, and Dennis Judd.
