Louisville Orchestra Quintet coming to Columbia

By Doug Beard

The Louisville Orchestra is currently on a state-wide tour bringing the gift of music across the Commonwealth.

I have been working with a member of their planning team and we are excited to have a Brass Quintet from the orchestra coming to Columbia July 12, 2023 at 1pmCT in the sanctuary of Columbia United Methodist Church, 202 Burkesville Street, Columbia. We had hoped to be able to have this at the Columbian Theater but it's not going to ready for our date.

The full orchestra will be performing in Glasgow later that evening.

We are inviting our band students from the schools to attend but the event. It is also open to the public. We want to have a full-house as we hope to develop a working relationship with the Louisville Orchestra and host them for upcoming events at the Columbian Theater.
