Neal Moss, 81, Metcalfe County, KY (1942-2023) William C. "Neal" Moss of Edmonton, Kentucky passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 at his home in the Subtle community of Metcalfe County, Kentucky, having attained the age of 81 years, and 20 days. He was born in Edmonton on Wednesday, June 10, 1942 the son of William Henry Moss, and Della (Gibson) Moss. He lived in Metcalfe County his entire life, was a self-employed logger, and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, William and Della, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dale Moss, Ferrell Moss, his sisters, Thressia Reece, Ruby Jessee, Virginia Hagan, Yvonne Harper, and Audra Moss. He is survived by his wife, Josephine "Josie" (Dyer) Moss whom he married on Saturday, January 14, 1995, his children, Greg (& Sandy) Moss, Tammy (& Damon) Perdew, Troy (& Carrie) Moss, Ryan (& Sabrina) Dyer, Ashley Dyer (& Donny), siblings, L.C. (Joette) Moss, Syvia Acree, grandchildren Megan, Daniel, McKenzie, Hannah, Kaleb, Zak, Jak, Rebekah, Ty, Evelyn, Sydnee, Jaxson, Tucker, Dalton, Destiny, Jacob, Donny Jr. and Andrew, great-grandchildren, Lillian, William, Clara, Madison, Sophia, Easton, and several nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at 2pmCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Grider officiating. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 beginning at 11am and will continue until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Leslie Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
