ACSO: Adair woman arrested for rape

An investigation was begun around 1:12amCT on Saturday, July 1, 2023, with a complaint on Jamestown Street that led officers to the back of Haven Hill Cemetery off Liberty Road. It was there where a woman was found along with another female who appeared to be trying to get away from her.

After further investigation and interviews, the victim was transported to TJ Health for treatment, and a suspect was taken into custody.


Felicia Frausto was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on charges of:
  • Rape 1st Degree
  • Unlawful Imprisonment
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Public Intoxication
Sheriff's Deputy Chandler Staten is leading the investigation. He was assisted by Deputy Josh Durbin and Officers with the Columbia Police Department.
