Severe storms possible Sunday afternoon or evening From Mike Keltner, Director Adair Co. Emergency Management The National Weather Service in Louisville, KY, has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for portions of south central Indiana and Central Kentucky that includes Adair and all surrounding counties: Expect more clusters of thunderstorms today, with strong to severe storms possible this afternoon into this evening. Damaging winds will be the main threat, with large hail and locally heavy rain also possible. We can't rule out a tornado either. The Enhanced Risk (Level 3 of 5) is driven mainly by the higher probability of damaging wind gusts, rather than the magnitude of any severe hazard.The information was last updated at 11:48amET on Sunday, July 2, 2023.
