Rita Ann Kozak, 94, Campbellsville, KY (1928-2023) Rita Ann Kozak of Campbellsville died at 11:50 A.M., Saturday, June 24, 2023. She was 94 years old. A memorial service will be held at 2pmET on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Campbellsville, officiated by Brian Zurface. Rita Ann Kozak, daughter of the late Edmund Kotecki and Anna Urbanski Kotecki, was born July 4, 1928 in LaSalle-Peru, Illinois. She faithfully followed the footsteps of Jesus Christ and served her Heavenly Father, Jehovah, as one of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1938. Rita was a retired secretary for Montgomery Ward. She united in marriage to Edward Joseph Kozak August 15, 1967 and he preceded her in death in 2010. Rita is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Howie and Maureen Kozak; two grandchildren: Keith Howard Kozak (Tiffany) and Karen Elizabeth McConnell (Jimmy); four great-grandchildren: Chloe, Kya, Kiara and Cage all of Campbellsville; also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews and cousins, all of Illinois and her brothers and sisters in the faith, who she loved so dearly and worked alongside in the Campbellsville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Rita was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Kee-Kotecki. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Hosparus Health and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
