Sharon Lynn Browning Cornett, 69, Green County, KY Sharon Lynn Browning Cornett of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Herschel and Margaret Aleshire Browning, was born on October 25, 1953 in Madison, West Virginia. She departed this life on Monday, June 26, 2023 at the University of Louisville Hospital having attained the age of 69 years, eight months and one day. She retired from Taylor Regional Hospital where she worked as an Anesthesia Tech. She was an excellent cook, loved working in her flowers and spending time with her family. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Broadway Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Vernon Cornett, having united in marriage on April 25, 1999. Besides her husband Vernon Cornett of Greensburg, other survivors include one son: Michael Williamson of Erlanger, Kentucky; two daughters and one son-in-law: Ashlee and Russell Owen of West Virginia and JoElla Mallory of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: James Michael Owen, Taylor McClelland and Jody Mallory; one great-grandchild: Peyton McClelland; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Herbert and Hazel Browning of West Virginia and Terry and Sandra Browning of Tennessee; plus a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be conducted at 3pmET, on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Boone Memorial Park in Danville, West Virginia. Visitation is requested on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 3 - 7pmCT at the Gupton - Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg.
