Rickey David Arms, 55, Cumberland County, KY (1967-2023)

Rickey David Arms of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at the Cumberland County Hospital having attained the age of 55 years, 7 months, and 23 days.

He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky Friday, October 30, 1967 to David and Vellas (Thrasher) Arms. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Grace (White) Arms, maternal grandparents, Hershel and Lorene (Groce) Thrasher, sister-in-law, Patricia (Flowers) Davidson.


He is survived by his parents, David and Vellas (Thrasher) Arms, wife, Patty (Flowers) Arms, whom he wed Saturday, May 23, 1992, children, Allison (& Freddie) Shaw, Lucas David (& Brandi Humphrey) Arms, William (& Melanie) Arms, brother-in-law, Bobby Joe Davidson , sliblings, Darlene (& Roger Bradshw) Arms, nieces, Jaime (& Don) Griffin, Chelsea (& Curtis) Thompson, grandchildren, Adam Shaw, Evan Shaw, Charlea Shaw, Khiara (& Halen Lee) Alexander, Kobe Alexander, Makinna Stockton, great-grandchild, Rowan Lee.

The funeral service will be conducted on, Monday June 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Boils and Bro. Greg Wells officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday June 25, 2023 after 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home until the funeral hour Monday.

Burial will be in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers the family request donations are made to Chestnut Grove Community Church. Donations may be left at Norris-New Funeral Home.
