Jenny Myers retiring from ACHS Library

Adair County High School Library Media Specialist Jenny Myers is retiring as of June 30, 2023. She was called a "world-class librarian" by Barry Dunn, guest speaker at this month's Chamber of Commerce banquet.

She worked 27 years in the Adair County school system - three years at Knifley Grade Center and 24 years at ACHS.

She says, "My favorite things about my job were the kids and relationships I have made over the years. I formed bonds with students and coworkers that will hopefully last my lifetime.

"I don't have any definite plans after retirement - I hope to spend more time with family and friends and as much time with flowers as possible."

Jennifer Cross will move into that position in the ACHS Library as the new fiscal year begins.
