Angela Brady, 56, Campbellsville, KY (1966-2023)

Angela Brady of Campbellsville departed this life on Friday, June 16, 2023 at the U.K. Bluegrass Hospice Center in Lexington. She was 56 years old.

The funeral service for Angela Brady will be held at 11amET on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel, 1765 New Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, KY with Deacon Joe Dant officiating. Burial will follow in the Benningfield Cemetery.

The family request visitation from 5pmET to 8pmET on Monday, June 19, 2023, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.


Angela Brady, daughter of the late Roy Elwood Porter and Joyce Moore Porter, was born June 21, 1966 in Lebanon, KY.

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She was a devoted housewife and enjoyed going out to eat with family, traveling, playing cards and especially spending time with her grandbabies.

Survivors include her husband: William Brady of Campbellsville, her children: Steven Brady (Ashley Hudson), Amanda Brady and fiance Devin Hayes, and her mother: Joyce Moore Porter.

Four brothers and sisters: Sheila Snow of Campbellsville, Gary Porter (Latasha Bell) of Campbellsville, Dale Porter (Trisha) of Lebanon, and Connie Lawson (Mark) of Campbellsville.

Five grandchildren: Hayley Ann Hayes, Emily Grace Brady, Madison Hudson, Adam Hudson, and Kaylee Hudson. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by one son, Eric Porter.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made in the form of donations to the funeral expenses and those can be made at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Tessa Lawson, Mark Lawson II, Brandon Snow, Justin Snow, Austin Porter, Zach Sallee, Troy Edelen, Randall Porter.

Honorary Pallbearers: Grandkids, Great nieces and nephews, Latasha Bell, Samantha Lawson and Nick Richerson.
