Elizabeth (Betty) Bennett, 94, Campbellsville, KY (1929-2023) Elizabeth "Betty" Bennett of Campbellsville died at 11:48 A.M., Wednesday, June 14, 2023. She was 94 years old. Visitation is requested from 1pmET until 4pmET on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY. Elizabeth "Betty" Bennett, daughter of the late Claude Shepherd and Carrie Garman Shepherd, was born February 9, 1929 in Roanoke County, Virginia. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Betty was a retired caregiver having worked at many different nursing and retirement homes. She united in marriage to Edgar "Ed" Bennett August 9, 1948 and he preceded her in December, 1992. Betty is survived by three daughters and one son: Jeanie Tincher and husband, Benny of Owensboro, Judy Frazer and husband, John of Campbellsville, Missy McKinley of Greensburg and Eddie Bennett and wife, Andrea of Campbellsville; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Christine Trumbull of Salem, Virginia and Helen Willis of Springfield, Georgia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce McNeely; two sons-in-law: Carl McNeely and John McKinley and two sisters: Claudine Kanode and Rachel Bowen. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
