Judging from the high number of comments posted with the latest ColumbiaMagazine.com story on location of the Adair Justice Center, public interest is very high.

One comment adds to the history of the Mouser Realty and Wid Harris Barber Shop building, owned by Mr. Harris, which would be razed if the Justice Center is built facing the Square from the octant from Mouser Realty to Barger Insurance.

The writer, who is not identified, writes,
"My notes about the Mouser Realty building indicate it was built in 1839. That would make it the second oldest building on the Square. (The "corner drug store" building across from it is the oldest, dating from 1818.)

Perhaps someone else has more info."
Submissions on the subject are welcome, or, persons with information on the little building can add a comment to the article, or, send an email to: ed@columbiamagazine.com.

A few comments focus on a suggestion that the Justice Center be constructed in the industrial park off the Campbellsville Road.
