Doris Marilyn Williams, 75, Taylor Co., KY native (1947-2023) Doris Marilyn Williams of Lebanon, formerly of Campbellsville, departed this life on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at her home. She was 75 years old. The funeral service for Doris Marilyn Williams will be conducted at 1pmET on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, KY, with Pastor Nicholas Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Green River Memorial Cemetery. The family requests visitation from 11:30amET until time for the service on Wednesday. Doris Marilyn Williams was born, September 8, 1947 in Taylor County to the late Hubert l. and Evelyn (Noel) Cox. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the God's Friendship Chapel in Campbellsville and was a homemaker. She united in marriage to Richard Lee Williams on December 6, 1962 and passed away on January 17, 2010. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in the death thirteen brothers and sisters and a grandson: Jordan Chandler Williams. Survivors include her children: Kimberly (Philip) Smith of Indiana, Ricky (Dana) Williams, Shannon (Robbie) Wilson all of Campbellsville, Steven D. (Angela) Williams of Lebanon and Shaune (Lisa) Williams of Louisville. Also two sisters and two brothers: Patsy McDonald, Carroll Keith Cox, Lana Pendleton and Timmie Cox; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; a special friend and caregiver: Carole Hogan and a host of other relatives and friends.
