Happiness is - an empty bladder By Linda Waggener Let your exploration begin - what is happiness to you? I always enjoy Carol Perkins' columns and this week's article, a deep study in finding what makes her happy, is especially fun. I'm starting my list now and finding that simply contemplating what makes me happy actually makes me happy - even before I start to write! Those who knew Dr. Steve Aaron may remember that he not only wrote about the subject when he was a young medical student, he artfully created little framed signs to share with friends, signs like this one - "happiness is an empty bladder." I hadn't thought of him and those little signs in ages until Carol's article on the subject reminded me of those days. That particular little sign continues to have more meaning for me the more I age. Have a wonderful first weekend of June 2023 and I wish you joy in discovery as you think about what makes you happy.
