Economic Development update Business of the May 25, 2023 Adair County Economic Development Authority meeting included approval of two letters of intent to be sent to potential prospects who have shown interest in locating in the Green River industrial Park. There is no commitment on the side of either party, however, there could be two lots in the park (one over a hundred acres and one over twenty) that may soon need to be reserved, depending on communications going forward. There are still several tracts available. Grant applications continue as the current grant for the build-ready pad is nearing completion. The board members welcomed, Richard Phelps, who will fill out the remainder of former board member Chester Taylor's term. To visit the EDA website for complete information and take a virtual tour of the park, click on their "Acreage Available" logo ad on the left side of this home page.
