Little Free Library comes to Columbia

The City of Columbia is now a Charter member for the Little Free Library. According to their website, they have over 150,000 libraries in 120 countries with over 300 million books shared.

The local Little Free Library is located on the corner of Campbellsville Street and Reed Street, right beside Columbia's City Hall. The purpose of the Little Free Library is to take a book and share a book.

If you want to donate multiple books, please see Jada Atwood in City Hall, 116 Campbellsville Street, Columbia.

This library will be for adults. "If this works well, we eventually would like a library for children," said Mayor Pamela Hoots. For more information, call the City at 270-384-2501.
