Edwin (Ed) Breeding Cheatham, 65, Campbellsville, KY (1958-2023)

Edwin "Ed" Breeding Cheatham of Campbellsville died at 9:47 A.M., Thursday, May 11, 2023 in Campbellsville after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 65 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Dr. Paul Patton. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, with Masonic Rites by the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F & AM.

Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.


Edwin Breeding Cheatham, son of Maurice Allen Cheatham and Juanita Breeding Cheatham, was born March 8, 1958 in Taylor County, Kentucky.

He professed his faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church.

Ed was a major account executive with Windstream.

He was a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F & AM, the Scottish Rite and Kosair Shriners.

He united in marriage to Cyndi Smith December 4, 1999.

He dearly loved his daughters and was proud of exceeding his goals providing for them. He was very friendly and sociable and his favorite place to be was on the lake.

Besides his wife, Cyndi Cheatham of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Kate Lynn and Olivia Breeding Cheatham; one step-son, Cody Baxter; his parents, Maurice and Juanita Cheatham, all of Campbellsville; one sister, Marsha Crowe and husband, Mike of Danville; two nephews: Tyler Crowe and wife, Alexis and Nathan Crowe and wife, Lyndsey of Arkansas and many other relatives and friends.

Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to the Kosair Shriners and be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, or a tree may be planted in his memory.
