Barn Lot Theater to present Leading Ladies From Kyrie-Inn Blue In Barn Lot Theater's hilarious new comedy, Ken Ludwig's Leading Ladies, two English Shakespearean actors, Leo and Jack, find themselves so down on their luck that they're performing "Scenes from Shakespeare" on the Moose Lodge circuit in the Amish country of Pennsylvania. Romantic entanglements abound, as Some Like It Hot meets Twelfth Night in this screwball comedy filled with bad behavior, high heels, and a world of comedy. Performances for Leading Ladies are June 15-18 and 22-25, 2023, at Barn Lot Theater, 207 South Main Street, Edmonton KY. Showtimes are Thursday to Saturday at 7pmCT and Sundays at 2pmCT. Ticket prices ranges from $8 to $15 and may be purchased anytime at https://www.barnlottheater.org/ or by calling 270-432-2276 Monday through Friday 10amCT to 4pmCT. Leading Ladies is rated PG-13 for adult situations and language. The play features an all-star cast of theater veterans starring Roger Johnston (Clue), Wesley Waddle (Farce of Habit), Courtney Shelley (Winter Wonderettes), Johnathan Bryant (Clue), Wayne Martin (Christmas Express), Marilyn Melloan (Young Frankenstein), Stephanie Barnes (Savannah Sipping Society), and Greg Blair (Mousetrap). "I had the pleasure of seeing this show onstage at another theater last year and wanted to bring the show to Barn Lot as I know audiences will appreciate the constant hilarity and side-splitting comedy the script has to offer" says director Brandon Kyle Hadley. "This is possibly one of the best ensemble casts that will amaze, surprise, annoy, and delight audiences with their never predictable antics of this Shakespearean farce!" says Assistant Director Kyrie-Inn Blue.
