Early voting opens to everyone on May 11

From Lisa Greer
Adair County Clerk

In-Person (No-Excuse) Absentee Voting (Early Voting) begins this week. On May 11, 12, and 13, 2023, any registered Adair County voter can vote in the Kentucky Primary Election at the Adair County Courthouse Annex Basement, 424 Public Square, Columbia KY, between 8amCT and 4pmCT, regardless of your precinct in Adair County.

Voters must bring proof of ID. When you come into the front doors of the Courthouse Annex, straight ahead, you can either take the elevator or steps to the basement. You must vote your party affiliation in the Primary Election.

There will be no voting on Monday, May 15, 2023. If you don't vote early, you will have to vote in your precinct on Election Day, Tuesday, May 16, 2023, between 6amCT and 6pmCT.

Note: Excused In-Person Absentee voting will continue until May 10, 2023, from 8amCT to 4pmCT, in the Adair County Clerk's Office. Remember you must meet certain criteria to vote through May 10, 2023.
