Darlene Jones, 63, Green County, KY (1960-2023) Darlene Jones of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Vernon Howard Pettit, Sr. and Alma Pauline Kelly Pettit, was born on Monday, October 24, 1960 and departed this life on Thursday, May 4, 2023. She was 62 years, 6 months, and 11 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Justin and Sasha Jones of Greensburg; her granddaughter: Anniston Kate Jones of Greensburg, who was her world; four sisters and a brother-in-law: Jean Bailey, Linda and Leon Wright all of Munfordville, Jenny Kessinger of Brownsville, and Sandy Trulock of Greensburg; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Doc and Joyce Pettit, and Marion and Wilma Pettit all of Cub Run; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Darlene Jones will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Central Time, Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Cliffton Sullivan and Bro. Larry Wisdom officiating. Visitation is requested from 4-8 P.M., Central Time, Monday and after 7 Tuesday until time of the funeral service.
