Wilma Jean Matney Grawemeyer, 84, Green County, KY Wilma Jean Matney Grawemeyer of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late William Leonard "W.L." Matney and May Kemp Matney, departed this life on Monday, May 1, 2023. She was 84 years, nine months, and five days of age. Honoring her wishes, cremation was chosen. No formal visitation or services at this time. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ninth & O Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Mrs. Grawemeyer was retired and had formerly worked for Sam Meyers Warehouse in Louisville. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death in 1988 by her husband, Gary Grawemeyer having united in marriage on June 13, 1959. Survivors include a son: Barry Leonard Grawemeyer of Louisville; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary Ann and Eugene Anderson of Greensburg, and Shirley and Danny Walls of Campbellsville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Grawemeyer was also preceded in death by three brothers and a sister: Wallace Matney, Glen Davis "Moon" Matney, Bob Kemp, and Genoice Sexton.
