William A. (Tony) Clements, 80, Greensburg, KY (1943-2023)

William Anthony (Tony) Clements of Greensburg died at 4:27 A.M., Monday, May 1, 2023 in Campbellsville. He was 80 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Deacon Jimmy Richerson. Entombment will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Tony Clements, son of the late Leonard Augustus Clements and Dorothy Anna Stillwell Clements, was born in Jefferson County, Kentucky on January 9, 1943.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Caves Catholic Church in Horse Cave.

Tony served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He was a retired electrical mechanic for GE.

He was united in marriage to Sue McAdams on January 18, 1967.

Tony was a wonderful husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was a veteran, a foodie, a storyteller, a collector, a hunter and fisherman, a jack-of-all trades and a hard-working and devoted family man. He could talk your ear off for hours. He could be really serious but also give silly faces, a little mischievous giggle and tell a joke you never saw coming.

Besides his wife, Sue Clements of Greensburg, Tony is survived by one daughter, Tonya Tucker of Greensburg; a son-in-law, Daniel Tucker of Glasgow; two grandsons: Michael Anthony Tucker and wife, Laura of Cincinnati and Andrew Tucker of Glasgow; one brother and one sister: Roger (Lisa) Clements and Mary Lou (Tommy) Gibson of Louisville and many other relatives and friends.

Tony was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Thomas Raymond Clements, Loretta "Sissy" Gibson and Beverly "PeeWee" Tarrence.

Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to the ASPCA and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at parrottramsey.com.
