The election for parent members of the Adair County High School Site Based Decision Making Council will take place from NoonCT to 5pmCT on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in the Band Room at Adair County High School, 526 Indian Dr, Columbia, KY.

Nominations for parent members are being accepted now through Monday, May 15, 2023, either via email to Boosters2223@gmail.com or in person during normal business hours in the Office at Adair County High School.

To serve on the council, you must meet each of the standards listed below:


  • My child will attend Adair County High School during 2023-2024.
  • I am my child's parent, step-parent, or foster parent (or I am the child's legal guardian and the child lives with me).
  • I am not an employee of Adair County High School.
  • I do not work at the local school district's central office.
  • I am not the husband, wife, mother, father, sister, brother, son, or daughter of any employee of Adair County High School.
  • I am not the husband, wife, mother, father, sister, brother, son, or daughter of anyone who works at the local school district's central office.
  • I am not a member of the local board of education, and neither is my spouse.
