Anna Kate Holt, 98, Russell County, KY (1924-20230 Anna Kate Holt, 98, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at home surrounded by family. She was born in Russell Springs, KY on August 28, 1924, a daughter of the late Effie (Blankenship) and Robert A. Ham. She worked many years in the public, Young's Department Store, Kay's Bestway and Kentucky Farm Bureau. Anna Kate is survived by a daughter, Diana, wife of Terry Lester, of Jamestown, KY; daughter in law Linda Holt, of Covington, KY She is also survived by 4 grandchildren Mary Beth Gosser (Alan), Angie Wagner (Tony), Gordon Lester (Penny), Amy Castetter (John), 7 great grandchildren Dustin Gosser (Macey), Jared Gosser (Jacklyn), Lauren Powell (Griffin), Andrew Wagner, Hailey Miller (Jason), Anna Wagner, Hannah Richard (Hunter). 1 great great grandson Barrett Gosser, as well as nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Veston (Pody) Holt, Jr., brothers Scott E. (Pete) Ham, George Ham, sisters Elizabeth Porter, Nora Aaron, infant Minnie Lou Ham. Funeral Service will be held 2pmCT on Sunday, April 30th at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Wendell Roberts and Dustin Gosser officiating. Friends may visit 12-2 on Sunday. Burial is private. Family request memorial donations to Freedom Christian Church and can be made at the funeral home, or mailed to Freedom Christian Church, 125 Freedom Church Rd., Jamestown, KY 42629 Pallbearers; Alan Gosser, Dustin Gosser, Jared Gosser, Jason Miller, Hunter Richard, Tony Wagner, Andrew Wagner, and John Castetter.
