Phillip Coffey - give, give, give

Tossing an apple core into the air days ago.
Landing softly with no bouncing under the ole
Silver Maple with no forethought of what critter might find it.
Perhaps pure happenchance who will fetch and need it.

Mr. Mockingbird do not fear we humans as your kind has since
The fall from Eden - then going eastward.
Picking a small fragment of the apple with the end of the beak.
Suddenly flying upward, moving the loot only a few inches.

Very active in your pursuit, now with the bounty - hiding and feasting.
Nice lady, please take the rugs on top of my enclosed garbage
After passing my house three times seeking my permission.
Distribute to your sons still living-another fallen a few years ago

From a tragedy of a Greensburg House razed from a house burning.
So very many years of much grieving.
Give, Give, Give from the supply of the creations of supply and talents
